With unlimited international calls to standard numbers in 20 countries, keeping in touch with friends and family overseas has never been easier. International calls available on selected prepaid phone data plans.

Listen up Australia! All of our prepaid mobile plans include unlimited standard national calls to standard national numbers. This offer excludes calls and texts (inc. MMS) to international numbers, satellite and premium numbers (e.g., 19xx numbers), operator-assisted calls (most 12xx numbers), and all use overseas.

Boost Mobile uses the full coverage of Telstra's 4G, and 5G mobile networks, that covers 99.7% of the population and 3 million square km of Australia, which is more than 1 million square kilometres more than any other mobile network.

Data Usage

Keeping track of your data usage has never been easier. You can check your data usage in the My Boost Mobile app:

  • Open the My Boost Mobile app.
  • Your current total data balance and expiry dates for your service/s are displayed on the screen.
  • Tap on the service number you want to review, and a detailed breakdown of all your inclusions will be displayed.
  • Tap the “Data Breakdown” link below the data bar and your bonus/rollover data balance will be displayed.

Prepaid plans offer the advantage of avoiding excess data charges. By paying for your data upfront, you won't face any surprise costs even if you run out of data. If you require additional data, you can easily purchase a new recharge, ensuring you have complete control over your data usage at all times.

With auto recharge, your phone will automatically recharge on expiry, so you don’t need to worry about manually topping up. Get on with more important stuff - set up auto recharge today!

We get it - data usage is as unique as your favourite pizza toppings. You want just the right amount of monthly data, without paying for leftovers you won't use. Get to know your data needs by taking a peek at your current data consumption in your phone's settings.

  • Light usage: minimal web browsing, checking emails and messages - get by with up to 3GB of data.
  • Medium usage: frequent use of social media, streaming music and watching videos - requires approximately 5-10GB per month.
  • Heavy usage: extensive video streaming, gaming and downloading large files - requires about +10GB of data per month.

  • Coverage: 5G is rolling out in selected areas and available with a compatible device. In non-5G coverage areas, you'll automatically switch to our fastest available 4G. Check our mobile coverage page. ​

  • Speed caps: Speeds vary for reasons like location, distance from base stations, terrain, user numbers, hardware/software configuration, download source and upload destination. Download speeds are capped on our 4G and 5G networks on some plans. Your capped download speed is the maximum potential download speed for data included in your recharge. Factors impacting typical speed include location, distance from the base station, local conditions, concurrent users, hardware and software configuration and download/upload destination.​

  • Rollover unused data to use within your next recharge when you recharge $26, $39, $49, $59 or $74 before expiry.​

  • Unlimited Calls and Texts includes national calls and text (SMS & MMS) to standard national numbers. Excludes calls and texts (inc. MMS) to international numbers, satellite and premium numbers (e.g. 19xx numbers), operator assisted calls (most 12xx numbers), diverted calls and all use overseas. Our FairPlay policy (PDF 227 KB) applies.​

  • UNLTD International calls includes calls from Australia to standard numbers in the selected countries. 300/1200/3600 mins includes calls to standard international numbers from Australia. 300/1200/3600 texts include standard texts (SMS & MMS) to eligible countries.
