How do I bring my number to Boost Mobile?
Bringing your number to Boost is easy! Just keep your current SIM in your phone until the transfer is complete. Then, follow these steps:
- Go to https://boost.com.au/activate on your smartphone, tablet, or computer
- Follow the prompts to activate your new Boost Prepaid SIM
- Choose ‘Keep existing number’ when you get to the ‘Your SIM details’ page.
Important:
- The details you enter must exactly match what’s on file with your current provider, including your name and date of birth.
- Number transfers can take up to one business day (most are much faster).
- You can keep using your current service until the transfer is complete.
How will I know when my number has moved to Boost?
You'll know your number has been successfully transferred when:
- Your old SIM stops working
- You receive an SMS or email from us confirming the transfer.
Once that happens, pop your new Boost SIM into your phone, and you're good to go!
I bought my SIM online. When will it arrive?
We get it - you’re keen to get started! Here’s when you can expect your Boost SIM to arrive:
- Metro areas: Next business day if you order before 2pm AEST (Monday - Friday). Orders after 2pm take one extra day
- Non-metro areas: 3–4 business days.
Once your order has been shipped, we’ll send you a tracking link so you can keep an eye on it.
