Changes are coming to #111#

From early 2024, we’re phasing out #111#. However, there’s no need to worry, you will have a range of other options to recharge and manage your service.


#111# is built on our 3G network, which is closing in June. This move allows us to grow and improve delivery of next generation 5G technology – improving our service for you.

Alternate recharge options are coming

We’ll be introducing alternative recharge methods and they’ll be available to use before the closure. These include a new SMS recharge solution and a pay by phone option. We'll let you know when these new options are available.

Is my device 4G and 5G compatible?

Our 3G network will close from 30 June 2024. Before that happens, you'll need to ensure your device is compatible with the following technology and bands:

  • Required: 4G 700 MHz (B28)
  • Optional: 4G 1800 MHz (B3) banding

Generally speaking, most devices manufactured after 2014 will be compatible, however you should check with your device manufacturer’s specifications to see if these network bands are supported.
